Personality
Adrimel the Reborn is a paladin who has walked through the dark places of Kharlia...and though what he has seen is deplorable and vile, he does not hate the people that live in this reality. Unlike the more hard-bitten and desperate paladins that have frequented Kharlia, Adrimel is a scholar and diplomat, rumored to have been a knight or a nobleman before accepting the burdens of a paladin, and his knowledge of worldly things lends him a certain wisdom when dealing with others. He takes pity on the peasantry and frequently performs charitable acts, and on more than one occassion he has captured or defeated a criminal only to let them go in the hopes that he taught them a life lesson. He is, as you can imagine, somewhat naive.
Adrimel does not shirk from any of his duties as a lawful and good member of society, however. He fights incredibly hard when pressed, and is also an imperial patriot. While he believes in redemption and second chances, hesitation and indecisiveness aren't weaknesses you can count on in him. He is just as quick to bring a criminal to justice as he is to give him a chance to commit to redemption.
He is frequently seen reading old texts on nobility, chivalry, prayer, and accounts of old kings. He is the librarian for the texts of the Vigilant. He is capable of conducting various religious rituals, and is possibly capable of Rites of Investment. Other hobbies include playing chess, telling stories, teaching younglings, and being a hopeless romantic.
