Personality

Aerandir Felwind is a very smart, artistic and expressive elf. However, it hasn't always been this way, for he had a rather lonely childhood, but the fault belongs to no one except himself. He spends most of his time reading in preferrably beautiful settings, such as a sandy shore or a mountainside perch. He loves nature, women, books, and books about women in nature. He also spends a lot of time reading various novels, short stories, diaries, poems, and books on various magics. He has read through novels such as "Diary of a Draconian," or "...And Then the Orcs Came." He has seen himself through many girls and women alike in his years, and hasn't exactly been able to settle with one just yet. This is because books mainly show romanticized versions of "love" and relationships, kinds that don't exist in real life. Therefore, he has been looking for the wrong type of relationship. He can be seen in various places, reading through a story or maybe bathing in a stream. He's unpredictable and soft at heart, and only wishes to find any of his existing family, to see what has become of them.

Appearance

He used to be quite pale, you know, from reading all of those books in his home, but, upon adulthood, he sprouted into a more sociable and fun person, and brought his studies outside; closer to people and nature. For this, he has regained his peachy skin, and more, due to his constant habit of falling asleep at an alcove or a beach; usually naked. For this reason he may caught with sand in his long, curly locks. Just like his sister, Shival Felwind, his vibrant green eyes are quite the distraction, and somewhat hypnotic. He can be seen carrying his bird around, in which he mainly uses to deliver notes and the like; its name is Artanis.

History

His parents obviously knew that he didn't want to be bothered, so they left him to his studies until he finally moved into a residence of his own, about 16 years from the time he was born. He was so detached from his family that he never really got to know them, and has regretted this decision ever since he realized his mistakes. He spent most of his time trying to find the right woman and engaging in books, that he has hardly had the time to think about his own future, and where he'd be in X amount of years. What was the elf to do? He finally decided on fixing up his home and beautiful garden, and sold it to a small family. Why was Aerandir finally leaving home? He left home because he felt that he was destined to find and meet the rest of his family. All that he knew was that they were -somewhere- in Kharlia, and that they weren't expecting him at all. It's been almost 10 years since his sister, Shival, left for Kharlia.

Favorite Passages

From "Diary of a Draconian":

I took my hat off, and turned back to her, knowing that she had already figured out my secret. "What in -hell-?" She asked, talking about the lancets that rest upon my head. "A gift from the great dragon spirt..." I replied, knowing that she wouldn't catch on. "...A-Are you ill?" She asked, but I had to laugh. Who would have known that she would later become my wife?

From "South of Meridem":

"Ma'am, I believe ya'll should thank meh, yessum." He asked, taking his hat off and holding it by the brim. "Keep working, I don't owe you anything besides a good lashing." The elf wrinkled her nose at him, angrily. "...Ya'll should be hang-ed by dem long ears." He whispered to himself, glaring up at the beady-eyed elf. "What?!" She obviously heard his remark. "Boy, I'll slap the brown off of you!" She stomped towards him, but he ran back to his post and began to, once again, work the fields.

From "Go Ask Abijah":

"What -are- you?" He asked, unsure of what he was staring at. "I am the darkness under your bed, the lifeless abomination that haunts your very soul." Abijah put a hand upon the mans shoulder, and the man began to shudder. "I am the lonely cry of an orphan, and your worst nightmare materialized. At this point the man began to feel dizzy. "I am Abijah, and you are worthless to me." The man blacked out, as Abijah extracted enough essence to meet his desires. "You are nothing." Said Abijah, before he flashed his cloak left for the dark of the woods.
