Appearance
Aleksi would be considered someone as truly unique to outsiders - for his appearance, compared to that of a human, is very... outlandish. The young Grakûshian was neither blessed nor cursed with yellow eyes, jet black hair - which is usually kept styled and short, and a thin grey coat... of fur. And a tail! Other traits of his that are common between other Grakûshians are his seemingly canine fangs, pointed nose, pointed grey ears - similar to those of an elf, and his dark red pupils. The hands of this creature are similar to those of a human, except claw-like in appearance and use. Other details include two ear piercings on Aleksi's left ear, red hair beads, and his perpetually runny eye-shadow makeup - for a dark look.
Dress
Aleksi is a man of many outfits - but he would be caught, most of the time, wearing a black robe or coat - due to his dark, mysterious nature. Aleksi's favorite color, red, is also the second most frequent color on any of his outfits that aren't plain black. Any other details include a red-gemmed bracelet, a red ruby choker, and a chain anklet. Aleksi also casually wears a fishnet-style top underneath most of his clothing. Aleksi, along with many other Grakûshians, does not wear shoes. His unique style would be considered a bit too flashy and over the top for the average human, but among other Grakûshians, it is widely accepted, and actually one of the norms.
Equipment
Grakûshian Sword
This sword is mostly thin, long, and... dull. Carrying a dull sword is a part of Grakûshian tradition - and not only that... the blade is so dull that this "sword" should be considered a blunt weapon. From it's smooth hilt down to it's dulled blade, it appears as if it was used quite frequently. Nevertheless, it's not very exciting be struck with.
Satchel
A small bag with remnants of Aleksi's past - with room for findings of the future. Inside of this satchel, one would find: An Alchemist's "cookbook," a guide to the use of herbs, a Grakûshian to Common translation dictionary, black bandages, a black leatherbound "diary," Grakûshian rock candy, and a few, small glass jars.
"Diary"
Within this diary of sorts, one would find passages about Aleksi's late childhood, preparations for his journey to the mainland, the requirements and training he had to meet and attend, and the beginning of his new life on the mainland. The most recent updates in this "diary" include observations of the areas of land and it's inhabitants, which is something that must be done - intentions unknown by others.
Wooden Bow
Aleksi is also a novice archer, for it is merely a hobby to him -- like playing darts to another. However, Aleksi's uses of archery are sure to change once he is familiar with his new residence. This bow is a small-scale bow, made of black vegetation.
Skills and Abilities
Alchemy
The young Grakûshian has had a little experience creating different potions, pastes, and ointments - mainly for medicinal uses. However, most of Aleksi's written recipes have remained untested and potentially dangerous. Using any of Aleksi's conjurations professionally is a gamble.
First Aid
Who would have thought? Aleksi specializes as a medic, and is very useful in combative emergencies. This includes, but is not limited to the prevention and treatment of: Hemorrhage, disease, infection, and Trauma.
Close Quarter Combat
Grakûshians are very skillful fighters, and excel at a close range. Whether the weapon be a dull sword, or a fierce set of claws, the agile Grakûsh are quite fearsome opponents.

Electrical Affinity
All Grakûshians have a natural affinity with electrical forces. This is shown by their obsession with objects and blades that are capable of carrying an electrical current. They are able to channel this in very short bursts, being able to shock others and even send it through their weapons. This is NOT lethal by any means, and only provides a small (yet rather nasty) discomfort to the recipient. This can only be used briefly, and will cause exhaustion and even burning with rapid and repeated use. It does not use mana and is a natural bodily function to the race. Grakûshians do not believe in and are against the use of magic.
Origin
Somewhere in Kharlia, lies a land called Jårkkya - a small peninsula, surrounded mostly by water. This land's barren, rocky surface is home to Kharlia's greatest electrical anomaly. This apparent wasteland is under constant siege by various electrical storms, which threaten the already scarred surface and rocky towers of Jårkkya. This dark, mysterious place just happens to be the residence of many content Grakûshians. Aleksi was chosen for a group of adventurers who would, after the proper education and training, venture into mainland Kharlia, and educate themselves with knowledge of the areas' inhabitants and landscapes - for the better of Grakûshian society (which would also be shared with fellow Grakûshians, upon their return).
Personality
Aleksi is a strange, strange creature. However, his charm, sophistication, and politeness all equally make up for his odd personality and snobby nature. As other Grakûshians, Aleksi can be quite arrogant - especially when talking of other races and their "inferiority." Aleksi is also very good at talking garbage, which is also a great way to start conflict and controversy. Unfortunately, Aleksi believes that "politely" talking garbage is acceptable to most people. This young Grakûshian also has a very dark sense of humor, and a hate for uncertainty, sunlight, and nature. It's also safe to say that overall, Aleksi's personality is as dark as his sense of humor.
