History of Alexander Sigma
Childhood
- Alexander was born on the 15th of _____, a special day to say the least since his mother and father were wed on that day.
- At the age of 3, Alexander's father, Vincent, after going on a drunken rampage the night before, left Alexander and his mother to fend for themselves inside a small cabin in the northern parts of Kharlia. His mother, Cecila, was a special person in his heart throughout his whole life and he still visits her every month. Cecila gave up her time to help raise Alexander and teach him the basic things a man should do, such as chop wood, hunt for food, etc.
- From the age of 5, Alexander helped his mother by doing the basic chores around the house, since the area he lived in was not urbanized. He was homeschooled and learned all about Kharlia's past.
- At the age of 6, Alexander started going out and chopping down the trees (since there was a redundant amount of it anyway) to help cook and keep warm. During the winter months of his Sixth year of age, he got knocked out after a tree fell on him. When he woke up, a month later, he found out his mother saved his live, but at the cost of her foot, which became frostbitten and had to be removed.
- When Alexander turned 7, he found a young girl playing near a waterfall a half a mile off. Her name was Julia Menstran, and at that time, he had his first crush. They always played together because he found out she lived in a desolant cabin 2 miles off from where she was.
Meeting Ayes Amord
- On a cool, fall day, Alexander was walking along a small river where he found a young, blonde haired man on the shore, inable to move. Alexander took the man's arm and dragged him a quarter of a mile to his house. For a month the man would not wake up. They had to take all the precautions to keep the man alive. When the man woke up, he introduced himself as Ayes Amord, a Knight Templar to Valikorlia.
- Two weeks after Ayes woke up, he started helping out Alexander's family. They grew a close bond and Ayes acted as a father-figure to Alexander. Ayes did all the man's chores and aloud Alexander to become closer to his friend, Julia.
- After a year of being with them, Ayes started teaching Alexander how to protect himself. Ayes taught Alexander the Knight Code of Valikorlia and influenced him to not kill anything of innocence, or anything that is not dangerous.
- For 6 months, Ayes taught Alexander how to use his blunted flail. Luckily, Alexander was already fit (from chopping wood), and was able to use it, but not proficiently. Overtime, Alexander learned how to use it properly, when to use it in battles, and how to make the most impact.
- After nearly 2 years being with Alexander and Cecila, Ayes had to move on and report back to Valikorlia. He thanked the family for helping them. Before Ayes left them ,he went to the saddened Alexander and said these words: “True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost", and then he handed Alexander his flail, to keep forever. On the ball, inscribed, it says "Smile for the sake of others".
Teenage Years
- Several years of living an ordinary life, Alexander eventually grew into his teenage years. Alexander, Alexander's mother, Julia, and Julia's parents eventually moved away from rural life and moved to a more urbanized area, along the outskirts of Bridgeton.
- During the times he was 13 to 15, Alexander would walk over to the town and do daily chores for people who needed help. He would help move boxes, feed chickens, do laundry, and more, just so he can help others. He was called for those 2 years of his life "The Assistant", as he would always be doing errands for people as though he worked for them.
- Then one day, while sitting on the docks watching the sunset, and romantically involved Alexander fell on one kneel and asked Julia to marry him... two months later there became a Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Quinn.
- 9 1/2 months following there honeymoon, Richard Quinn was born. Alexander was 15 years old and Julia was 16 at birth. Richard had the eyes of Julia and the hair of Alexander, so you can see a huge relation amongst them.
- Alexander ended his volunteer work when he turned 17 and set out to find a real job. Inspired by his lifelong hero, Ayes, he set out to protect the people he loved. During the time that Alexander was out (which was a period of 2 to 3 months), Julia fell ill and was bedridden.
- Alexander came home with an accept application to work as a woodsman just a mile off of where they lived. When he noticed Julia's bedridden state, he acted immediately as to find out what the problem was.
- A doctor came over to the household and observed Julia, and declared that she has a fatal case of pneumonia, and that she would die within the next 4 months. Heartbroken, Alexander was removed from his job as a woodsman because of his lack of attendance.
- The night before Julia died, which was almost as painful as when Ayes left, she too had a quote for him to cherish: "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world". When Alexander woke up she was pronounced dead, as her sheets were covered with blood-filled pieces of lung.
- 3 weeks later, when Alexander turned age 18, he wrote a letter to his mother, which stated this:
Dear Mother,
I have left this household in search to find a better person in me. I have lost my way due to the death of my beloved Julia. In this leather bag you will find the one paycheck I recieved from working and all the neccessities for my child, Richard. I ask for you not to follow me as I am trying to go into a deep, meditative state of mind. I will visit you every year if I can, and I hope that you will be troublefree. I thank you for what you will do for my son.
Love, Alexander
PS: Please tell my son, when he is older, that I love him. And that he should cherish everything because that's what I would want him to do.
- Alexander set off to find himself, and there his adventure began, in a whole new perspective.
Studying the Gods
- The first place he went to was a small village in the mountains. It had no name, but it was a town dedicated to gods of a mixed variety. They were Elan, Myria, Syren and Keldin. In his stay here, which was for 8 months, he helped the monks with their monthly duties and prayed everyday to these gods, praising them for their help.
- After a 4 month journey around Kharlia, he ended up in a fortified town dedicated to agriculture and entertainment. Due to that, they prayed to Lo, Singalot, Ulren, and Ord. For the 2 years he stayed here, he trained alot by breaking down trees for the town with his flail, which he did when training with Ayes. Alexander felt a loss at this time, as he has not had contact with his mother for 3 years. His son would be 6 and Alexander would be 21.
- When on the way home to visit his mother and son, he was captured by a group of bandits and was held hostage for 6 months. Luckily, Alexander escaped when the bandits had a battle with some Bridgeton guards. He took with him a small bow made for a young child, and continued his journey home.
- When he reached his house, he noticed it was occupied by another family. He went there and introduced himself. They explained that Cecila and Richard moved to a house on the outskirts of Helshire. So Alexander continued his his quest to find his family.
- After another 6 months, Alexander finally saw his mother and child. The stay was long, as he enjoyed playing with his son and helping his mother. At that time, Richard was helping raise two wolves, who were still pups. Alexander helped hunt food for the pups as well, so there was a big connection between Alexander and Richard. Unfortunately, he was not done with his journey, and so on the day that he left, he gave Richard the short bow that he found and proceeded to continue his path to find a god to follow.
- Alexander found a temple dedicated to Setengar and Xerxa. Because these gods were connected to Knight Templars, he stayed there for 4 years, until he was 26, and learned everything about both gods. Realizing the connection between the previous gods he prayed to and Setengar, Alexander promised to put his time in serving both. At last, his search for a god/gods to pray to finally ended. Now his final task was to find a nation to serve.
Celdin
- Alexander met many people when he lived in Celdin. He first became a Sentinel and was chosen to become a Knight Templar, because when he was not working he was praying in the church. He met 3 men, excluding the sentinels. They were Vergoth, Abraham, and Cruendithas Pegason. He respected each and everyone one of them.
- When time came, Alexander had to choose a squire. He had a choice for a young girl who seemed passionate, but then he realized that he needed a more fitting choice. When he heard the news of a young Sentinel named Conor saving a Sentinel by taking a crossbow bolt, Alexander knew who to choose.
- Alexander met the Arch Bishop of Celdin, who was Geos Astral. Alexander respected him for his promising religious beliefs. Alexander became good friends with him over time, as well as Conor who was the very person Alexander trusted all the time.
- Time came and went, and soon Alexander met new people such as Bromium, and others. Alexander became close with them, even if he didn't speak with them often. But a dark cloud loomed over Celdin, and it involved a man named Eian Smarth.
The Rebellion
- When the time came, Alexander first started noticing a more aggressive and corrupt Celdin. Alexander believed it was the work of the general who helped found Celdin, and acting ruler as First Citizen, Eian Smarth. Alexander grew more and more away from Celdin, and at times started distrusting the nation.
- One day, Geos Astral disappeared. Alexander could not stand the though of a church without an archbishop, so he went out to seek them. At the time, Alexander also heard that Tindertot Rastleknot was captured, and so the first place he went to was the Ignis Fatuus tower.
- On the way there, a pirate attacked him but lost. The pirate, Devios Shadowscar, denied his failure at killing Alexander, and asked if he could do a favor for him. The favor was to give him a job that would involve stealing, and Alexander, though the idea wasn't right, told him to steal mineral from Celdin that they were stripping from Hylund.
- There he met two prestigious men, Artius Somantio and Matrim Hakor. He spoke with Artius after Matrim left, and discussed plans of a revolt. The idea was not fresh, seeing as Celdin was against the mages anyway, but Artius agreed to work with him. The other mages with him were (at the time): Alavor Bodrik, Eshrin Rhyck, and Edgar Gastrofonde.
- Alexander met up Matrim on another day, and requested if the Seanchanni could help him. He agreed and the pact was sealed.
- Unfortunately, disaster struck as Alexander found out the Mage Tower was attacked by a man named Elsgrandus. Luckily the mages made it out alive, but Artius was mana exhausted and lost his fire magic for a short while. Alexander pulled him to the side and requested for him to fight for the sake of morale, and ironically, Artius gained his powers back again.
- Alexander then pulled some people aside, telling exactly what the necklace he wore was. He explained part of his souls were in each shard of the necklace, and the glew because he was living. Here is each shard:
- Geos Astral - White - My religious beliefs and honor.
- Artius Somantio - Red - My passion and morale
- Conor - Blue - My strength and will
- Matrim Hakor - Green - My friendship and promises (not given yet)
- Richard Quinn - Yellow - My happiness and intelligence (not given yet)
Each shard represented something important to Alexander, and he trusted them with it.
When the shard is used (after Alexander dies), his presence is felt with them in each thing. An example, Conor would look to my spirit for strength and the will to survive or fight.
- Disaster struck again, after Alexander went to the meeting at the Engineer's Square. He found out an attack was being formed on the Seanchanni. This pissed him off alot, and he tried to prevent it but failed. He pulled Azenthius Esthras aside and asked if the SIns could help, but he explained that they couldn't. Alexander walked into the base, with 3 dead elves in the base. Alexander screamed so loud that the place stopped their actions for a second, and he cursed Eian Smarth. Eian stated that he is a failure as a Knight and seemed pathetic. Alexander, frozen in the thought, praised Bromium for noting Alexander's existance, and walked off, leaving the Rebellion behind.
