Story
Antonio, born in a small mining town, lived a peaceful few years. His father worked in the local mine - as did almost everyone in his town - and earned a steady wage to support Antonio and his two siblings - his older brother and younger sister - and his family. This upbringing gave him a very practical view on life. Antonio was friends with quite a few villagers. He was friends with the huntsman's son, most of the other village children and a few of the adults, too. His best friend in his early years was the daughter of the blacksmith, a slightly ridiculous brown haired girl who was almost never serious. His mother happened to be good friends with the blacksmith's wife (His mother's job was to mend clothing and such for most of the village) and thus they got to know each other very well.
A tragic collapse of a mining tunnel killed Antonio's father and a few other miners. His mother was quick to marry another miner who already had a son, but his wife had died of sickness the year before. Antonio did not get along very well with this new step-brother.
At the age of sixteen, Antonio was basically kicked out of his house, now being old enough to go and earn himself a living. And that he did; he took up in his fathers footsteps and became a miner. He was good at it, too - he had an eye for seeing where to and where not to hit to find minerals. Things progressed this way for about a year.
After that, he decided that the mining life wasn't all for him. He missed it desperately, however, after he left town. He left town in search of work in the outside world. He enrolled in Celdin for a short time as a soldier, but it didn't interest him enough to keep him for long. During his time, he picked up how to fight with two shortswords at the same time - not something very hard. He left Greendale in search of work - yet again - which brings him to where he is now; a wandering miner looking for work.
Possessions
Pickaxes: Two pickaxes which are shaped in the form of one whole pickaxe (They, in reality, are similar to a pickaxe that has simply been split in two, but they were forged especially to be as such.)
Clothing: He has his straw hat to keep off sunburn and slightly worn cloak. Both belonged to his father.
Pack: It keeps his stuff.
Keepsakes: Random junk from his home town that means the world to him; a chainlink necklace with a piece of copper in the shape of a shovel along with a small sack of pebbles from the mine back home.
Personality
Generally, due to his extremely rational upbringing, Antonio is very logical and has a general dislike of magic - or, disbelief, really. He mostly thinks of magic as cheap tricks like sleight-of-hand but on a much bigger scale. He doesn't believe in most supernatural things, claiming that they aren't logical.
With his disbelief in all things magical aside, Antonio tends to be rather easy-going and agreeable.
