History
Ariyeh first felt the warm, crisp air on one uneventful afternoon. His mother was not known to him, but his father was the renowned Matrim Hakor. Ariyeh grew up living with his mysterious mother, in the town of Bridgeton. Life was tough for Ariyeh, as he wasn't rich like the others. He had to work day and night to try and support him and his mother. Up until Ariyeh was 13, he sparked a peculiar interest in Fire Magic, after seeing a stranger use it to his advantage in a local fight. This encouraged Ariyeh to seek a trainer immediately. But as he figured out about the Mage Tower, Bridgeton was attacked by dragons, and other mythical creatures. Dodging the mayhem, he made it back to his childhood house, spotting his mother on the ground writhing in pain. "G-g-give this to, y-your fa-father... M-a-t-r-i-m, H-ha---" Then she died... After gathering what supplies were undamaged, Ariyeh escaped the sinking Bridgeton town, without turning back. But, this was a chance for Ariyeh to learn Fire Magic, to at least stand a chance in the world. Finally approaching the Mage Tower, Ariyeh was taken in by various teachers knowledgeable in the fire arts. For 3 years, he studied and lived here, before he bode farewell to the ones that took him in. Growing to the ripe age of 16, Ariyeh set out with basic fire spell knowledge, official mage robes, a pocket full of gold, and his hopes. He traveled to the town rebuilt into Greendale. There he searched for a lead to the one called Matrim for a year, but to no avail. While enjoying sustenance in a tavern called Red's, he heard two elves speaking to each other quite absorbed. After showing them a picture of Matrim, the older male elf claimed that was him. Ariyeh gasped, and explained the story with Bridgeton and his mother, and not shortly after, Matrim took him under his wing. To this day he remains training in the fire arts, with obstacles in life.
