Buy-a-Broom is a mysterious character. Shrouded with ebon-black, dirty and torn rags of various clothes from his past. The man lacks a left arm, and he is always seen wearing his quiver filled with brooms. He doesn't speak too much of who he really is, keeping his identity a secret, mostly saying he was a soldier, and that is how he lost his left arm. However, his skills of the world, the history and as well in the art of combat says he was more than just a soldier.
Personality
The Broomsalesman seems to come out to the world as a man, fighting hard for his every-day life. Being a jack-of-all-trades, trying to earn money in what ways possible. Even though he ask for money for every-day chores, he is not a greedy man by all means. His services are cheap, one can argue way too cheap, and he excuses himself for taking money for his service with I am a family-man, I need to breadfeed my family. To people who can consider him friend or visa-versa, he can tell about his struggles with Meridallas and his time serving in the Celdinite and Valikorlian Goverment, but not saying who he is. He tends to look upon himself as the scum, the rat of society, not worthy the attention of the nobles, and his place in society is to serve, nothing else. However, around Sir D, his weird familiar-ish creature, he tends to stay silent or too busy hushing the critter silent as it speaks broadly of Buy-a-brooms actions and Even how dark his heart seems, do not fret, within shines a heart of gold!.
Various Artifacts
The buy-a-broom, even how poor he seem and humble, he has some various artifacts and resources at his person at times.
Staff of Lost Love and Purification: This artifact is also more known as The Broom of Lost Love and Purification. This broom, by the looks of it, is made of pure silver, but upon closer inspection you see the shaft and everything (except the brush) is made by a branch coming from one of the rarest trees in Kharlia, mostly found in the now gone forest of Asca Dagnir, Silveroak. This artifact however, was later blessed by the Dragon Spirit to purify a person as a whole. Not in own shape and size, Draco sent one of his oldest dragons, a golden dragon to Buy-a-broom's aid. Most of the gods, abandoned him, but he kept himself faithful for the years to come, Draco found his quest noble, and his person to be worthy to achieve a gift to get closer to his goal. Upon uttering out some words (that BaB knows) will activate the staff. The person will liteally use a part of his life (growing older, maybe even dying) to purify said person from illness. This was given to free a certaint maid from her curse as a Vampire, and that it can cure even Vampireism, says a bit deal how powerful it is.
Runic Rifle: A wonderous piece of artificial work. This weapon, or tool of defense works much like a harkbus, except it acts more like a powerful Orb-of-force weapon. It can even knock Orcs on their backs, and if struck in the head, it has the potential to knock someone unconsious.
Salva of Healing: A goo-looking salva that smells horribly. Where he got this, he wont say except mumbling something about Druids. The Salva itself is great for healing. It mends broken bones, gashes and such close in mere 3 days. However, this salva can not regrow, re-attach limbs and can not help against lethal wounds like, destroyed liver etc.
Sir D: This little creature one can so fall in love for his brave heart and manners that belong to a court to a King or Lord was a mere prank of some sinister mage on BaB. The mage recognized who BaB really were and found it amusing how BaB had turned out and created Sir D to be a reminder of whom he had once be, what he had been standing for. BaB looking himself as a Rat in the society, Sir D ressembles the quite opposite of what BaB is. A rat that acts knightly, bears clothes that belongs to a rich lord or knight.
