Story
Chico Goncalvelez was raised in the city, son of a cobbler and a housemaid. He had a twin brother, Rico Goncalvelez, who liked to punch things; Chico liked to kick things. They were almost constantly brawling and fighting for their first sixteen years.
However, at the age of nineteen, Chico was kicked out of his home by his father for breaking his workshop in a fight with Rico. Rico was kicked out two years later. Chico found shelter in a restaurant, Red's; there he learned martial arts - kicking only - from the Suirikuan head waiter. He took part in an intensive ten hour a day training schedule, coupled in with classes on cooking and serving food. He went on as such for three years, until he was quite as good at the taught classes as the head waiter. During a small scuffle with security guards, Chico was banned from Red's. By then he was a grown man, ready to face the world with his tophat and suit; so was the birth of the tophatted vagabond Chico Goncalvelez.
Possessions
Chico has quite a few interesting items in his possession. One of them is a pair of Impenetrable Shoes and a Hopping Stick. The impenetrable shoes are just what the name says; they cannot be pierced by any object, and do not wear out with age. The hopping stick is an eight foot pole that can hop three and a half feet in any direction, which Chico uses to travel; he has nailed a plank - which can be removed if necessary - to its side to use to ride upon it. He recently purchased a new tophat, only to find that it had a rather powerful curse on it - it automatically stuck itself to the hair of whomever wore it. It is currently still stuck to Chico's head. Also in his possession is a very strange oddity; a sack, about the size of a money pouch, which can make things taste like strawberries. Very strange indeed.
Personalities
Every time Chico recieves a hard hit to the head, he undergoes a personality change. The last time he receieved a thunk to the head, it turned him into a fierce adventurer; this time around he is a tophatted vagabond, destined to wander all pathes. He was originally justice-obssessed Chico Goncalvelez, ex-waiter and greatly just saviour; his goal was to slay the god of time, for making centuries too long. His second time around, he was a posh gentleman, fighting for equal rights for everyone; the third, he was a paladin of Staphot, the god of tophatted justice and roundhouse kicks.
Experiences, Past Events and Achievements
Chico has had quite a few interesting experiences, and achieved a few interesting goals.
One of his lifelong goals was to defeat the Head Waiter of Red's - who taught him everything he knew - in fair, one-on-one combat. He accomplished this goal upon returning a few months after he left, where he challenged the man to a fight; the result was that both were carried hospital, Chico for a minor spinal injury and the Head Waiter for a head injury, which was caused by Chico slamming his skull into the ground. Chico got up first and won, claiming the man's tophat as proof.
In the Storyteller event, Chico slayed a dinosaur with the aid of the dark dragoon Valiant, who lent him his sword to slay the beast with. He gave Chico a shortsword to carry with him at all times, which Chico uses to slay beasts - if necessary.
In a comical twist of fate, Chico took a potion made by S. Reds which changed him into a woman for a short period of time. Chico was quite mortified at first of the fact that men actually tried to flirt with him - naturally, his first reaction was kick to them, and kick them he did. Even with a less muscular body, he still packed a punch. His ordeal ended in Laboo, where he unceremoniously burned every single feminine clothing object that he had unfortunately had to purchase - after he had changed back, of course.
After that, Chico had many other interesting adventures; from the average good old roundhousing in Greendale to the occassional bout of exceedingly tiring combat. In all this time, Chico almost never loses a fight; however, he did tie with a man named Zeta 'Red' Scumbard in Noutarask de Lionnes's fortress.
Chico was recently kidnapped by the waiters of his old place of employment, Red's. There, they captured him, tied him to a chair and fed him a strict diet of knuckle sandwiches, soups of kicking and pain. He was saved by a group headed by Luis Sorel. The group defeated three cooks from the restaurant to accomplish that.
