Background
Youth
Cyrin was a citizen of a small mountain village and son of the only man brave enough to leave the village as a merchant. The main cause for this was the near tribe of orcs, who did not engage in actual assault of the village but were a danger for lone travellers. As the only merchant, Cyrin's father was quite rich. But, when he went to the town of Staghorn to make a big deal and took most of his money with him, he never returned. Whether the orcs finally got him, or if he was robbed in the big city, no one knew. Cyrin and his mother had to live off the money they still had left and the few low-paid jobs they could get.
Middle Age
Two years after the death of his father, when Cyrin already had became a real man, a plague struck the village. His mother died, but Cyrin did not. He saw that the cause of this was their constant lack of money, and blamed the orcs whom he thought had murdered his father for it. He left the village to seek out orcs to kill. Instead of finding and killing one, a huge orc found him and decided he could make some money out of a pit fight between Cyrin and another orc who was convicted for murder. Money was not his only intention though; he made sure that Cyrin got a poisoned weapon so he could not lose the fight, as the orc Cyrin had to fight against was a rival of the Orc that caught him for chieftainry of the small tribe. Because of this, Cyrin won. The orcs still did not let him go and he became a servant of the orcs. Because of the hard labour, he became as strong as most orcs, and eventually was accepted as an equal. From the Orcs he heard that they did not see his father return. They had respect for the man and always watched him, but never attacked him. They allowed Cyrin to leave the tribe and gave him his orc scimitar to help him.
Adult
Cyrin went to Staghorn to find out if anyone knew what happened to his father there and did not have anywhere else to go anyway. He still hasn't found out!?!?
