"Where is my fish dinner?" Evan often asks.

"I represent the thing you've never been able to kill, no matter how hard you try. I am hope." Evan once said.

Dancing with death on it's own burial site

Each step closer just another bloodied fight

As bullets spray raining murder today

Look at a soul who's been set free,

Once lost to the deceit in darknesses eyes

Life Consumes anger while driven by greed

Survival was a must but never guaranteed.

Enough is enough, still forever I pray

All for the street soldiers now blown away,

The lives taken at a click of the fingers

Striking fear into all who opposes

Life be a battle not full of roses,

Kill or be killed just brace for the ride

Being a man, step up and choose a side.

War waged with rival turfs and

Gangland shootings with premature births

It's a ghetto life we fight to survive,

Respect is power that never comes free.

Earned through drugs and the murder of souls

The choice of life has death in it's hands

Yet the decision is yours, where do you stand?

Trapped in hell with no where to turn

Keeping their place they must now learn,

Killing and torturing of lives at night

It's do or die they must get it right,

Hearts turned to stone no longer do they feel

Blood from open wounds is an everyday sight

Still they go on yet Still they fight.

Like animals stalking they hunt there prey

God forgive the souls of lives gone a stray,

Bandannas stained with the blood of the innocent

Murder or defense no one knows how it begun

For another mother has buried her son,

The endless battle they fight against each other

Has just resulted in the burying of my own brother.

Description

Evan Toroa has appeared almost out of no where. He is a skilled fighter who prefers the use of duel daggers. His fighting style is often described as something like a ninja, assassin, or thief would use. He is quick to make his killing moves, yet appears to sometimes be hesitant. However, his fighting style also has a bit of modern day break dancing moves. Not that he ICly knows how to break dance, he just fights with very fluid motions and flexibility.

Patron of...

Myria. Evan, being a rogue type, finds that luck is very important to him. Often it depends on his skill, but luck is also a large factor. Therefore, once he learned of this god he immediately decided to be a patron of it, though not a priest of anytime. Just a casual believer in Myria casting luck down upon him when it is needed.

Appearance and Personality

He has messy red hair that is often what helps people remember his face. He wears a grey bandana around his forehead, which goes down enough to cover his eyebrows, but do not stretch too far up. His green eyes are able to meld in with a healthy forest. Evan stands tall all the time to his height of 6'1". His body doesn't have many visible scars. He often has a neutral expression, if not a slightly bored one.

He isn't a man to approach someone, nor is he one to shun people. He just simply does not put effort into speaking with people unless he wants information. At the start of every battle, or in any long pause during a brawl, he has a nervous habit to spin his daggers between his fingers. He can only be described as quiet since not much is known about him.

  • Reappearance

Evan's hair has grown and dyed white for good. His eyes have become golden. In the dark they would glow and resemble the eyes of a wolf.

Battle Earned Scars

  • A long and thin line across his stomach, going vertically up. He got it in Lerhyn from a creature that caused him much trouble.
  • Many, many layers of cuts on his right arm, horizontally. It covers most of his arm. Unknown how he received them.

Past

He doesn't talk about his past with anyone. It seems that his reluctance in killing someone off is somehow tied to an event that he was deeply involved in.

It has been recently revealed that he used to be an Assassin, often in demand. He has left that alone, and is rumored to be dead among the few who did know his name. Of course, it was a fix just to escape that life.

Lifestyle

Evan will often have the tendancy to fall asleep at a random time in the day at a random place that could be far away from home, even an enemy territory. Otherwise, he lives heathily. He admitted that he is narcoleptic.

Possessions

Weaponry

  • Twin Daggers

His Twin Daggers were his first and favorite weapons. They don't dull easily, and are made out of strong material to keep them lasting. They have leather-wrapped hilts, and the blades stretch about 6 inches, while the hilt is only 3 and a half inches. They are rather large daggers. They are always cleansed from blood.

  • Oungmund Core Sword

He bought this to have a slight advantage for fighting mages. He likes it very much.

  • Caladbolg

This greatsword has a serrated blade of a pitch black color, with a pattern made of arcs and crosses engraved on it. The guard is styled to resemble a claw which clutches at the blade. It is too large for a scabbard so it is merely strapped to his back by a leather sort of belt. It has a great reach of 5"5' feet and can easily cut the tops of trees and slay numerous men when swung. Evan had taken this weapon into his care after some time of walking down on memory lane. He was offered some lessons with the greatsword by Issenval but never had the chance to take them since he died, so he took it upon himself to learn by experience.

  • Bootknife

In case of emergency, Evan always has a small knife in his left boot. The blade is two inches long and the hilt is three, making it unfit for battle. It is good for cutting ropes.

Armor/Clothing

  • Chainmail and Protection

He wears silver chainmail under his black sleeveless shirt. The chainmail has apparently served him through-out most of his life as an Assassin, and still does even after he stopped that branch of work. It is relatively strong for chainmail. He wears a single left arm gauntlet, and armored boots.

  • Cloak and Clothing

Evan is clad in a Hunter's sleeveless shirt, black pants, and war boots. His black cloak, seemingly sewn together of countless pieces of cloth, is always on his shoulders. He sometimes wears the hood up. He even wears it to bed, sometimes. His scarf is only worn when cold; He doesn't seem to dwell to much on style.

  • Headband

His black headband is always tightly wrapped around his head. It can be used as bandage for wounds.

  • Iron Mask

Evan's iron mask was made to sustain most physical attacks. It has no mouth hole or nose hole, making it a tad difficult for him to breath through it. Because of that he never has it completely pressed against his face to allow oxygen to flow under the mask. It is good for smashing peoples' foreheads in with headbutts.

Name

He says that he named himself. It is not known why, when, and if he had a name before. He says that he got the name Evan from a character in a book he read, and Toroa just matched it. The book is apparently called The Dulled Dagger.

Tyson Redgard has identified Evan as Arik Redgard.

Life in Valikorlia

First Appearance!

Evan, still new to talking with the people of Kharlia, slowly progressed with his social status. Soon enough he had made aquantanceship with namely Issenval Avinanna and Ettore Static. He became a member of the Leeway Brigade, though of course no one but the other members know of this fact since he was still new to the Brigade.

Getting Settled!

Before Evan is able to have his fish dinner, which is owed to him by Katlina Naj'Klem, the demonic beast Baerith, a follower of Atna crashes the party. He is forced to look for Atna with newfound friend Githanos Silvershadow.

Addiction!

Having heard or seen nothing that has to do with Baerith, which has presumably been solved without his aide, Evan has found a liking to any type of alchohal. He is often found asking people for a drink. Till this day he still waits for Katlina Naj'Klem who first gave him ale to prepare him a fish dinner.

Disappearance and Reappearance!

Mysteriously, Evan vanished and no one knew where he went off to, or if he was even alive. What really happened was that one day while sleeping under a tree, an apple fell from the lovely tree and smashed on his head. It's white juices drenched his hair and gave it a temporary dye. Evan planned to wash it out immediately, but that didn't happen. A mage saw the juiced Evan and decided to have a little fun. This mage permanently changed Evan's hair color to white; the new hairs that grow will be white as well... even hair that is not on his face. He also decided to give Evan golden eyes to attract unwanted attention. Aftr this mage's encounter with Evan... he was never seen again. It is unknown what happened to the mage, but it is most likely fact that Evan decided to have some fun with the mage in return.

Resting under the same tree with his new hair color, a pigeon rudely woke Evan up with some direct pecks to the face. Evan's first reaction was the gut this animal, but stopped as he saw a letter tied to its tiny leg. Upon reading the letter, Evan was surprised to find out it was from his family. It had been years since he had seen his family. His father was apparently dying and wanted to see Evan's still young face.

Rushing to the scene, Evan found himself in a fix. His family was long dead. He was the only one left. It was a trap. The man waiting was a sort of bounty hunter for bounty hunters. His target was Evan. Through rage and sorrow, Evan killed the bounty hunter with many wounds of his own, the biggest being one in his heart. He had already lost a dear person in his past, and he thought that by leaving his family he could keep them safe from dying too... but that wasn't the case anymore. He was now all alone.

With a gloomy state, Evan made his way back slowly to the place he had chosen to stay at until fate brings him elsewhere. He only hoped that he would still be remembered by his fellow Brigade friends. After all, it had been months since his disappearance.

Tournament in Lerhyn!

Evan decided to participate in a tournament in Lerhyn, along with his fellow companions Sinn Fein, who went under the name ‘Scruffles McGee’, and Ettore Static who went under the name ‘Leon Treecutter.’ Evan called himself ‘Terrance Jasse.’

What ended up happening here was not Evan fighting at all… but was getting drunk with his two friends. They literally caused chaos – unnoticed by some – until they sobered up. Evan made the mistake of nearly yelling out his identity and his allegiance in front of Erika Okibi and Shival Felwind, but was stopped by a green haired woman who he later suspected to be Ebra Conaway.

Despite their reason to be at the tournament: serious investigation on who killed Issenval, they learnt nothing. Back to the old drawing board.

Near Death Experience!

Evan and Ettore found a portal in Laboo and walked right into it, to find themselves with a mouthful of sand in Lehryn. It was a very confusing time and bad experience for Evan. He did not know what he walked into until he actually faced it. An unknown species appeared, only to attack the people surrounding it.

As it made a run, Evan and the others followed it. Evan felt intrigued and wanted to know more, but also felt a sudden bloodthirst. He would help slay it! Of course this ended with the worst for him. With an arrow covered in numbing salve, tossed to him by Ettore, Evan leapt at the creature to stab it in it's neck.

It spun and stabbed Evan before he could reach, a blade-like arm going through his stomach. With a ton of blood escaping his body, he slowly made his way back. As Evan fell to his knees, a mage by the name of Erika Okibi approached him and offered a cyan colored potion. He was reluctant, knowing she was a mage, but he took it. His bleeding slowed and his healing hastened.

He fell unconscious not too long after, only to be brought to the clinic of Lehryn by a peacekeeper of Ignis Fatuus, Daisuke Zemechi. Another mage, Eldyvrin Whisperwind, a student of Evan's hated Ignis Fatuus, came to inspect Evan's wound. Ettore as well appeared by his friend's side, returning Evan's mask and placing it on him to keep his identity safe... however Erika already recognized him even though she couldn't place a name on him... while Eldyvrin could.

Eldyvrin healed Evan up even more than what the potion was offering, giving Evan guaranteed life. Once left alone with Ettore, he admitted how angry he was at himself for taking the medicine of a mage and taking a hit from the creature. He was rarely hit.

Then... he had visitors. Tons. All not the average Joe. Caedril Rossil, Alexx Ranova, John Nightslash, and the two he met before: Erika and Eldyvrin. He and Ettore were then directly accused of destroying the mage tower. They were trapped.

Once they were left alone in the room, locked as they were, Evan got all his gear on. Caladbolg, his greatsword was strapped to his back. His Oungmund Blade was in it's sheath at his belt, and his two daggers were hidden up his sleeves. He was ready for anything... except his wound opening up. Though he did have his armour given to him from Leeway... which could dispell anything three times a day.

Despite the effort of getting ready he was disarmed and they were captured and put on an airship to be brought to Kharlia.

Jail!

That time had come. Evan and Ettore were placed in jail in the Capitol. They remained there for a bit before being beaten to an unconscious state. They were then transfered to another sort of jail while unconscious, therefore not knowing where they were. They were basically stuck in their own rooms that had a single hole in it. There was no door, or bars. Just four walls. They were left to die.

A man by the name Edvard Hensan came after about an hour of being sitting ducks, and instantly the two prisoners started asking questions to the man behind then wall.

Evan Toroa of (the Leeway Brigade): "What business? Aren't we being left here to die?"

Ettore Static, Founder of (the Leeway Brigade): " ... "

Edvard Hensan: Well, no actually. We're the second option. You're actually being let go, in a sense.

But what was the catch? That was all that Evan wanted to know. Just as he suspected. They wanted to be lead to the other Leeway members. It was a very hard choice. Loyalty, or life?

Life. They approached the two one at a time with ink and a paper. They were to sign the contract. Ettore went first. He put his thumb inside the vial as asked and the lips of the vial closed donw on his thumb, removing it. Evan knew something was up when he heard the yell.

Ettore Static, Founder of (the Leeway Brigade): " .. You Bastard.. No.. Evan! Do not do this! " He refused.

Then, Evan offered to hunt down the other Leeway Brigade members on his own in exhange for Ettore's life. Edvard sounded interested. When a wall fell, Evan found himself staring directly at Ettore, though he heard Ettore's voice from the other room. He was confused. Which was the fake? He decided to ask the one in front of him where his sword was, knowing that the real Ettore had witnessed it being taken away from him in Lehryn. The answer was not clear. He decided to presume the Ettore he was speaking to was the real, for now.

He made a run for it. An armoured man that had apparently been there the whole time gave chase. After not being able to hit Evan he resorted to poisoning the air with gas. The two runaways nontheless reached the door and struggled with opening it.

A guard was waiting for them. It's hammer smashed right down on Evan's left shoulder, possibly fracturing it. The two brawled right in the hallway until the goon was unconscious and Evan had stolen the hammer. He ran, knowing "Ettore" could handle himself.

As he was face to face with another guard, he realized how futile it was. Then... "Ettore" dropped something he stole from a guard. BANG!

Greendale and Assassin!

He woke up in Greendale, right in front of the Cleaners. Next to him was Ettore, also waking up. They had no clue how they got there, or how long they had been unconscious, but it was good to be away.

They found a man by the name of Tyson Redgard leaning against a streetlight, staring directly at them. Neither Ettore nor Evan recognized him. When Evan saw the claws on the man's gloves, he knew what was going on. The man was an assassin after Evan's head. Evan couldn't believe it. He was an assassin, who was being hunted by one of his own kin!

The moves were pretty familiar to him. Just who was he fighting? The fight, surprisingly, was not difficult to win. He did not slay the assassin, because he finally recognized him. He left the scene with a, "You've grown."

Tyson was his brother.

Escaping Death... Again!

Headhunters had finally found Evan! Evan had two choices. Fight them, or perish. Fighting them seemed like a relatively good idea to him, although he was completely surrounded, with the drop of the Naigata Falls behind him.

Evan backed up slowly, not expecting the land around the Falls to be slippery. Unfortunately, Evan fell from the Falls, his body arching as he plummeted to his almost certain doom on the solid rocks beneath the falls. However, by some stroke of luck, he hit more water than he did rock, and even so, the rocks he was hit by were flat, and smooth.

Evan swam up from his dive, his arm broken under the weight of his fall from the Falls. But other than his arm he was fine, although a little sore from his most ungraceful landing. Evan managed to swim back to the bank, where he ran and hid from his would be captors. Observing them as they searched for his body. Chuckling even as they scratched their heads as to what had happened to him.

Evan decided to "lay low", and went to the place of Residence of a Githanos Silvershadow. Githanos was surprised at his friend knocking on his door, but accepted him gratefully, for he was off on a Job, and was in need of someone to look after his home. There, Evan Toroa recovered from his broken arm, until it was his time to surface again.
