Personality

Most already think Dwarves are fairly grumpy, but other Dwarves think Griff is grumpy, proving him far more grumpier than most of his kind. Griff doesnt often talk, and usally listens. When he does talk, however, his accent is very thick and even close friends have a hard understanding of what Griff actually is saying. He is very talented and proud of his work, but doesnt praise it as much as the others do. Griff works endlessly to make his lifes work, but he has yet to know what it is. Like most Dwarves, Griff is very quick to anger and will often pound on those who disagree with him or aggrivate him in any way. Through all the rough, rude, and often aggrivated demenoir, Griff has a heart of gold and often lends his profits to those in need. But NEVER talks about it to -anyone-.

Equipment

Myhril Hammer:Griff's only out of the ordinary object in his possesion is his mythril hammer. Which he uses to mason even the strongest of stone, he also uses it to crush the skulls of his enemies and to teach races like Kender a lesson in appreciation for his work.

Background

Childhood and Youth

Griff Stoneshoulder, firstborn to the clan Stoneshoulder. He was loyal to his fathers craft and took upon masonry, he became reknown soon, being naturally gifted, some say even mystically, and began to carve some of the fastest and finest works of dwarven art and structure that Droth Danor has ever seen.

Adulthood

In the later years of Griff's life, It was unfortunate when the famed Thane passed away leaving his two twin sons in charge. One whom cared very little for Griff and his art. However it was more than art, it was the very thing that kept the bugbears at bay in the lower parts of the valley.

Griff's hardwork payed off when a victory over a outpost, resulting in a heavy loss for the bugbears from a well placed stone trap.

Then civil strife broke out for the two brothers and Griff decided to move on with the one twin whom he deemed more intellegable and followed him to the new lands of Kharlia. There Griff and his crew have worked steadly and creating a new dwarven kingdom.

Masoning the Halls of Hammerforge

Griff soon helped craft some of his finest work in his life, and helped establish and lay out the small kingdom of Hammerforge for Thane Throm Stonehewer. It is said his halls are some of the finest, however, due to being overly grumpy he locked it up, even to fellow Dwarves. He continues to mason the halls, here and there, and participate in drinking contests, but Griff as always has fairly kept quiet and is currently adjusting to the new lands and its peoples.
