Half Elf

Size: As Medium creatures, half-elves have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size. Half-elf base land speed is 35 feet.
Life Span: 200-250 years.
Low-Light Vision: A half-elf can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. He retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
Racial Bonus: Immunity to sleep spells and similar magical effects.
Racial Bonus: High resistance against enchantment spells or effects.
Racial Bonus: on Listen, Search, and Spot check ability enhanced. Half-elves do not receive the innate ability to detect hidden passages.
Racial Bonus: Diplomacy and Gather Information abilities are raised.
Elven Blood: For all effects related to race, a half-elf is considered an elf. They are a sub race of Elf. Favored Class: Any.
Restrictions: Barbarian.
Description: Sometimes the pain of time is not enough to block the promise of love. When an Elf and Human interbreed, a Half Elf is born. Considered an elf by humans and a human by elves, Half Elves have it rough when it comes to being accepted.
Due to their human roots, Half Elves are good for any class, with the exception of Barbarian, due to retaining their limber physique from an elfish parent. Another perk from the elfish side, Half Elves gain an extended lifetime, leaving this world around 250 years.
Special Note: Half Drow will be considered Half Elves in almost every respect; the only difference is, of course, appearance and cultural background, and the fact that Darkvision replaces Low-Light Vision.
