Hopping Stick
Description
The Hopping Stick is a very strange object. It has a level of intelligence akin to that of a dog; it is in its nature to do things, but it can be taught not to or to do something else. Its main ability is hopping three and a half feet in any direction; be it up, sideways or down. It never tires, either, making it good for long travels.
Backstory
This object was created when an ancient mage - tired of his home being plagued by insects, rats, and other small creatures - decided to search for a magical cure to his problems. So, he took up his eight foot staff (He was really tall) and bespelled it with semi-sentience so that it would solve his problems. The mage passed away, but the stick remained in tact somehow; probably a by-product of the magic that had been cast on it. As such, it was passed down, and down, and down, until it was eventually in modern day Valikorlia, in the hands of a shopkeeper who knew nothing of its magical properties. Perhaps he would've been able to sell it for riches instead of having to close shop and sell it to the only man who seemed to want it - Chico Goncalvelez.

The Hopping Stick is currently in the hands of Chico Goncalvelez.
