History
Early Life
Hyde grew up in the lower class of Ganelon with his brother and a very closely knit group of friends, including Sariss Hitaw. They were a group quite into mischief, known for wearing helmet visors around their heads, smashing pumpkins, and poking small animals with sticks. The gang even went so far as to call themselves the 'Boys of Fortune'. They often met in the forest to play games, camp, read forbidden literature such as Witchcraft and scare any folk away that came near.
Young Adulthood
Eventually, the gangs travels brought them to Galliston County after reading about the Galewind Devil, they figured if they captured or killed it they could receive a hefty reward. Staying in an Inn at Lucca, The City was attacked and seized by Dalamarites. The 'Boys of Fortune' fought back against Imperial Dalmar and all but Sariss Hitaw joined the ranks of the Valikorlian Empire.
Miliatry Life
Hyde was now a soldier for Valikorlia. Serving with his brother Ace, and his friends, he participated in many major battles over the course of the Imperial War. During his career adopted a boy orphaned by the war, named Cody. In the middle of his military career his brother Ace assaulted a Valikorlian Priest and was banished from the military. Most of the gang Hyde initially joined the military with were killed in battle, and Hyde was captured and taken to Selnic. He was tortured for many months by the torture master in Selnic. After being released in a bloody and crumpled heap, Hyde was broken in spirit.
After the Battle in Greendale and several years in the military Hyde grew away from the military No one knew what but something dark seemed to dawn on him since his time in Selnic. His brother was a criminal and he had not seen him in years,and most of his friends were dead. He decided to resign from the military and try to live a peaceful life alone.
The Transformation
He was reunited with his brother after many years. He was a criminal but Hyde thought he had repented, not to his knowledge but Ace was actually responsible for the disappearances of many young children within Ganelon. After investigating deeper into his brothers dealings in the past he had found out he was a vampire who targeted young children into his cult and in an nostalgic attempt to let their group live on, and even named them 'The Boys of Fortune'.
His brother was very seductive and in taking advantage of his brothers broken spirits offered him immortality. He turned Hyde into a vampire and offered him a place in his cult.
Death
Hyde was now a Vampire. Him and his brother Ace would spread the curse through Kharlia. The two entered the Dragon's Belly Inn and a fight ensued, where in the end both were impaled by Leonidas's 'Emperors's Bane.' Not given a proper funeral because he was a Vampire, Hyde's adopted son, Cody, took his ashes and spread them off into the Xanthic Ocean.
