Personality
Like most Wyrmslayers, Lothan has a single companion Xevec Uth Matar, whom he respects as a blood brother. However, to everyone else Lothan is often recluse and rude. He only cares for the sport, hunting and killing Dragons, Ogres, Dire-Animals, and other Legendary Beasts. He cares little for anything outside humans, and really dislikes anything outside of humanoid type as is the Duthelm way. Lothan is all buisness and most of his personality is unknown and usally not cared for.
Equipment
Red Dragon Claw Spear: Taken from the carcass of Meridallas herself, Lothan has fashioned himself a very large pointed spear, which he uses to hunt big game with.
Wyvern Shield: In his earlier days, prior to be skilled enough to kill Dragons on his own, he hunted the lesser dragonkin, Wverns. Whom are stupid, vile, and smaller than dragons and spit a massive fireball from thier maws. Lothan hunted one for a week and slayed it. He took it as one of his first thropies and boiled its bones and hardened its flesh to mend himself a shield which is resistant to variouis types of flame.
Brass Dragon Pauldrons: Killing a weak metallic Dragon of good in the lands of Duthelm, using them for their resistance to fire, Lothan has created himself steadfast shoulder armour.
Blue Dragon Boots: From the strange mountains atop Vertigo it was here, he and his fellow Wyrmslayer killed an out of place chromatic Dragon, and helped the people of Ascense, for a price. They help absorb electrical damage for Lothan.
Brass Dragon Cape: Killed along with the brass dragon that was a bother to the people in the outer parts of Duthelm, Lothan has produced a cape from its scaley hide, protecting him from acid sprays.
Black Dragon Breastplate: A recent addition, in the swamps of Bogsdeep. Lothan was attacked by a young black dragon, stumbling upon its hidden lair. He slayed it after sustainign a large scar across his face. He uses the chestpiece furthing his resistance from acid.
Silver Dragon Gauntlets:: Lothans most prized possesstion, given to him by older slayer Kyle Kun during his trials in Duthelm. These things present the scales of wretched metallic silver dragons, who do the unthinkable and pose as humans with their spare time. Lothan wears them with pride, and is glad they also help protect him from cold breath weapons.
Background
Childhood and Youth
Like most of the people from Duthelm, his past isnt talked about much. However, what is known is that he was one of the few rare people to show enough integrity to be accepted to be put through the trials as a Wyrmslayer from a mentor slayer named Maximillian Ozzel.
Adulthood
As Lothan grew to adulthood, he and his fellow Wyrmslayer, were fashioned as complete slayers and each given a token of their ascension. Lothan recieved gauntlets from that of a silver dragon, which he still uses to this day. He soon dispatched to Kharlia with his associate upon rumours of a strong influence of Dragoon activities latley, whom were the rivals if Wyrmslayers had any. Dragoons meant that dragons were around endangering humans, and also meant that money was there to be sought. Soon he and his fellow Wyrmslayer Xevec slayed a few dragons under their own belt, and had their own stories and scares to show those back in Duthelm. However, soon the greatest of Wyrms appeared from the mysteriouis contenant to the south. The Dragon Overlords...
The Dragon Overlords, and Off To Meridiem
Soon after the attack on Riovannes from the largest Dragon ever seen on Kharlia, Lothan and Xevec were soon recruited to help stop this foul beast, which caused an unnautral blizzard over a land that had no seen magic since The Flood. They headed off the peaks near Mt. Vertigo and found the largest blue dragon they had ever seen. It called itself Thuulsander and spoke of a coming ruling from his master Meridallas. Lothan thought not much of it and attacked the vile beast. They injured him, but soon fell into a collapse of a cliffside from a caused avalanche from the mighty dragon. After digging themselves out, they had joined the gathering army that was fighting against these dragon foes, much to their dislike of having to share the kill. They helped also fight Viith-Sos whom were corrupted Dragoons, and those under the influence of the Dragon Overlords. Lothan had no problem killing the fools, and eventually assisted in the fall of Meridallas.
After the Dragon Overlords died, Thuulsander left a giant poison cloud over the once grand city of Selnic which lay in ruins. And the Wyrmslayers found this as oppertune grounds for slavaging the mighty beast for trophies and equipment. So they sold their land in the North Forest to Staghorn and helped capture Goblin slaves, and moved to the ruined Selnic. There they used the Goblins to test the effects of the poison gas and set up a hidden encampment in the outer walls of the city where they sent goblins to retrive parts of Thuulsander and Meridallas.
It was during this time that from a man named Ardaman they learned of the southern contenant from which the Dragon Overlords came from. Soon Xevec set off towards the contenant to check it out, hearing of more Dragonkin and other vast mythical beasts to slay on Meridiem. Lothan was told to stay behind as he checked the area out. And while his companion was gone, allowed Ardaman to be a temporary Wyrmslayer, where they helped bomb a group of wannabes called the Dragonstalkers, and ended up killing the entire group.
Soon Ardaman dissapeared and Lothans associate returned,and to where Lothan is now is unknown. It is probable that he is in Meridiem hunting bigger game than he could have ever imagined.
