The Marcello family line was one of the youngest noble line in the Empire. It rose to nobility by the actions of Darius Marcello III, the former leader of the Inquisition. Based on accusations that Darius Marcello III was involved in the murder of the Emperor-Regent Xaverious Rahl-Xanthica, the family was stripped of its nobility and exiled to a small village.

Ethnicity

Starting from Darius Marcello II, all family members are mainly of Alberean descent. However, the living members of the Marcello family are considered to be Valikorlian. The family has ties to Alkaria, Tracello, and Dalmar.
