History
A long time ago, a rather savage oni disturbed and raided small, hidden villages within the forest, and sometimes Suiriku itself. A young monk rose to the task, and ventured into the forest to seek it, and seal it. He brought along with him a katana, that had been crafted to seal the oni inside forever. He did find the oni, and managed to seal him inside. He then took the sword, and hid it in an old, abandoned castle, deep inside the forest.
Appearance
The metal on the sword is a darker shade than what would be expected of a normal katana. The sheath is a wooden sheath, wrapped in one long, black strip of cloth, and is stained with blood in various spots. The handle is a dark gray red, and the guard is dark metal. Around the scabbard is a golden cross, which stops any darkness from exiting via the useless protection of the sheath.
The present day
At the moment, the sword is owned by Jugatse Oleashea. He found it under the stairs in the castle, with his son, Jean Oleashea.
It is kept locked away to prevent anyone from using it, even Jugatse.

Effect: Whenever the sword takes the life of another being, it collects the soul of the deceased, infusing it with the blade to be used to power its following abilities.
Dark Shroud
Casting time: N/A
Duration: As long as blade is drawn
Effect: With the blade exposed, the trapped souls of the Oni Ken are free to revolve around the blade and cry. If enough souls are collected, a dark shroud is formed. It covers a radius of about 10x10 feet. Dark purple haze forms in this radius which will deter the might and courage of the weak-souled, making novices and the innocent easy prey. The main downside to this ability is that the wielder can be affected by this ability if not properly protected (holy symbols, training with the sword, etc.) from the shroud.
Replacement of Flesh
Casting time: 3 turns
Duration: Permanent
Effect: If any kind of wound is suffered by an experienced wielder of the Oni Ken, they can used the trapped souls to recover them self very quickly. Concentrating on the form the souls once took, they can lay the blade on the wound and feed souls into the body, replacing the wound with new flesh. This new flesh will scar a very nasty, but functional, undead-esque looking tone.
