Preface
The Seanchanni are a pecuilar group of Elves whose origins are found on the Island of Alkor. Their numbers have fluxated throughout the years but there are many who still claim heritage from this ancient people.
[There is a website [1] but it hasn't been updated for some time]
Culture
It is said that the Seanchanni culture is lacking by some scholars however this is merely a result of its dilution due to human influence. During the old days the people were a unique group. The Seanchanni even had their own form of law in an effort to mantain their heritage. It is in its entirely below.
The Seanchanni Code of Conduct
The Following are the laws of our people, they must be followed to insure that our people survive this new era.
A Seanchanni Shall Be Loyal to the Tribe above all else.
They shall not harm one another, swell as they should always stick up, A one man fight does not exist If one is under threat, we all are there for him
They shall be respectful to their peers and leaders, using words such as ‘Sir’, ‘Lord’ or ‘Mister’ unless told otherwise.
Stealing will not be tolerated there is no need to steal being that if you would like something so much you could probably receive it for free.
Do not steal another man/woman's lover. That is one of the lowest things one can do. In the case of this happening, it must be settled with a duel of honor.
In the case of such an occurrence happening, the accuser must plead his case before the Council. If they see he is telling the truth, he shall be allowed his duel.
Thou shall not murder. A death in a Honor Duel is not considered murder, nor is self defense. If one murder's they shall be put to death.
Our people as a race are not here to murder, we are here to be one with the place, and not to destroy it’s beings.
If you can prove you had a good enough reason to murder someone, then the Council will hear your plea.
Customs
Blood Oath
There are two rituals of the Blood. The simpler one involves two people cutting their palms and grasping hands in a sign of Fraternity.
The second is much more complicated and involves the person recieving their ceremonial dagger inscribed with "Loyal Until Death" on it. The person then proceeds by cutting their palm as mentioned in the previous ritual but this time closing it into a fist and holding it to their chest. The person must then repeat the following Oath:
I [Insert Name] do swear my life to the Seanchanni until my dying breath. I shall be an Alkorian always and forever. Blessed be the Queen of Life.
The Queen of Life meaning [ Lo ].
-Note: This is a binding spell. The person will afterwords feel even more loyal then before and find it difficult to betray the Seanchanni. A strong enough personality could still betray the Seanchanni however.
Coming of Age Ceremony
This Ceremony marks the Adulthood of an Alkorian. The young Alkorian recieves their heritage tattoo on this day.

Defacing
There are several marks on whatever page of book this is written in, or whatever sign it is inscribed to, reading things such as "MATRIM IS A SHEM LOVER!", "SMARTH'S LAPDOG!", "BETRAYER!", "HE'S DONE IT BEFORE AND HE'LL DO IT AGAIN!", "LEARN FROM OUR PAST - BUTCHER SMARTH'S TOADY!", and "KINSLAYER!"
Added 7/18/11: The markings were x'd through and replaced with a statement "Shi'Leani are dogs. Long live the Seanchanni!"
