The Speeches' title
Is the name of the specific memoir in Eian's large collection he has kept chronicling different times in his life. He figured it was fitting as no one had seemed to recall his words of warning as anything more than ramblings.
A Paraphrased Synopsis
My face grew grim as I thought about the last few months. How much I should have changed if not so bogged in the political circus.
It could have been in my favour, and it could have been manageable. But now it was a cluster of zealous fools and over reacting witches. I often think how sad the world crumbles without my guidance. How my "allies" don't even bother to make use of the networking I had single handedly set up that could put aside all this mess as a mere hiccup. It wasn't all for naught though, it allowed those whose eyes and noses needed to be kept out of my affairs for the time being. I required the time to get things tidy and set up the way they were meant to be. In ways others couldn't even fathom. But that was just one of the many reasons my presence is needed to guide the world of men, I was born for it, destined.
And now in my land, the same once taken from me back in the hands of its rightful leader. It was re-established that my word was law. Absolute. The people squabbled and bickered at first but it was they who offered me the position. And it was my hand that silenced them as a ruler should. They learned their place, as soon the rest will remember to. I had already sent some of my men under his brother to the "conflict", but I figure now was the time for Smarth to step into the light. Public so the people of the Empire could see the face of a true leader help end this, and ensure proper dominion.
It was time for I, Eian Smarth to emerge once more.
OOC Knowledge
Written after I, Zangus, had come back after 3 months due to computer failure and saw that a war had broken out that could have been easily rectified had my character been active. I was asked my stance on it as Eian, and so posted this fragment to display his return.
Availability
There only exists one copy and it lied within Eian's personal library in his manor. Few have seen it.
