On again, off again staff for many years, Phantos is a disillusioned and bitter old man. Official staff positions have been RP Admin and Public Relations, where he dealt primarily with uploading and acting as the go between for players and staff management. He came to Valikorlia right before the Pay to Play switch many years ago, and then stopped playing for a long time. He came back after things "stabilized" but never really got back into the swing of RP. Since then he's been more primarily interested in watching the server progress and working with his brother, Zazen. He has hosted a few versions of the official Valikorlia website, and formed two or three forums in its name as well.

More recently, he acquired valikorlia.com and valikorlia.net for use in forums / blogs and e-mail, respectively. If you'd like an e-mail address @valikorlia.net, feel free to ask!

Living Characters

  • Relonvyr'ven: A dragoon with a unique outlook on his order, Relonvyr'ven served as a number two for many organizations.
  • Talosinas: A Seanchanni expatriate, works as a hitman and moonlights in cat-burglary throughout the Kharlian Mainland.
  • Alaris: A Tiefling sorcerer obsessed with finding ancient ruins, and powerful magic items.
  • Allegro: A Forgewrought pirate who fancies himself more human than many born into the race.

Inactive characters

  • Chad Hoffman: One of the many engineers to come out of the resurgence in technological interest just before the Flood, he was one of the key people in the creation of the Digger Robot, one of the first examples of working robotic machinery.
  • Gatsoven Farious: A Tiefling sorcerer, Gatsoven scoured Meridiem with his illithid partner, Ilthak, in the hopes of discovering new and potent ways of raising undead and instigating necrogenesis, the theory of replacing all life with unlife through magical and alchemical means. He eventually allied with the Sinlord Karsalong and acted as his apprentice, learning what he could before joining the like-minded Legacy.
  • R34P3R: Reaper is a forgewrought made mostly of wood, as opposed to the more traditional steel. His adventures are few, for he is a simpleton who enjoys little more than acting as a scarecrow for local farms and gardens. Because of his long times spent sitting idle and observing nature, he has elements of a monk or druid.

NPC characters

  • Forti Baasim: A dark skinned man claiming to be from the land of Meridiem. He is extremely old but seems driven towards a singular purpose.
  • Baasim Ravija: Daughter of Forti, she is an established merchant from Hurlin come to ply her wares on the Kharlian Mainland.

Deceased Characters

  • Phantos: His first character, and eventual namesake, Phantos was originally an elf living in the forests west of Aeon. When a band of barbarians put his small village to the axe, he too was killed. Their collective energies manifested in a singular being that would haunt the forest for some time before a cataclysm destroyed that region of the world.
  • Seiseru Kamenoko: Emperor of Suiriku after the War of Nerves, Seiseru traveled to Kharlia in a mission of diplomacy. He ruled benevolently for many years before perishing in a civil war.
  • Hanzodis Ataenushi: One of the infamous Mire Bandits, Hanzodis was the eldest member and prone to bouts of cannibalism. After many years of avoiding the law and taking many lives, he was caught and executed. He died with a grin on his face.
  • Katsuma Cekeros: An Athedian merchant of Suirikun descent, Katsuma searched many years for his brother, Kensei, who had gone missing and in fact was consumed by the Corruption. Discovering his brother's fate, he accompanied two travelers in the hopes of tracking down the beast that had consumed him. Contracting the plague, Katsuma finally gave in to death and bid his fellow travelers to find Kensei and save him so that they could be together in the afterlife.
  • Sanye Emberstorm: A drow from the volcanic environment surrounding Mount Phoenix, Sanye (his given name in Common) wandered the lands of Kharlia with no real purpose other than to explore. Eventually, he joined the city of Thuulstrea and is assumed to have perished during The Flood, when the city was submerged.
  • Cruendithas Pegason: A tan-skinned man from Meridiem, Cruendithas strove first for vengeance against the undead marauders of his homeland, and then to become a knight of Kharlia. He spent years working towards both ends, succeeding in one and stopping short of the other as the destruction of Greendale during the Imperial War claimed his life.
