Personality
In his earlier days William Guy was very much a nature bound, nice, kind, and youthful person. He was raised by his father and mother whom were both drudic folk. So it was a natural thing for William to become a skilled hunter and tracker. However, upon joining the army of Valikorlia, he soon grew distraught and after a few run ins with Drow, Orcs, and suffering torture his outlook on life changed. He for awhile felt himself useless as he had lost his eye, and could no longer shoot a bow as he once had, and the lamming of his leg slowed him down considerably. Now William is a sad excuse of a man, drunken and deeply depressed. He does not however cry about it and write dark poetry, he instead uses his life as a lesson to those joining the military to show a physical outcome of what could occur to them.
Equipment
William holds no equipment that would be considered out of the norm.
Background
Childhood and Youth
Being raised deep in the woods around the Taron/Valikorlia area. Most of Williams childhood was a learning lesson of the living world around him. His mother and father were both deeply spiritual and lived off the land. Their house was nestled between two trees and had moss grown walls and thatched roofs. William never went into town much and preferred to wander about in the woods, hunting, tracking animals, and honing his skills with the bow for fun. He only really had himself to play with so learned to have a imaginative mind and often found himself going out for days on end tracking some made up mystical beast. It wasnt until late in his youth would he first stumble out of the woods into Taron near the recruiting centre.
Adulthood
Military life, excitement, adventure, fame, fortune, these were the very things that the recruitment centre used to draw the young men of the Valikorlian region. William, not having any knowledge of politics, the outside world, or anything outside basic survival decided to see what all the fuss was about. So he set forth to the centre were he chose something he didn't know and something he was skilled at. He first chose swordplay, where he was faced against another dashing young man, and was pelted with the wooden training stick of his opponent. Sore from the last round, Guy then went into an archery contest. There using his toned skills as a hunter surpassed all that stood in his way in the contest, and came out with honourary results. So much so that the recruitment headmaster himself presented William right passage into the force, and gave him a single gold. More money than his family had seen for generations, combined. Thinking he could do this for some while then return to his family and bring them enough money to help them all out for their whole lives, he set forth on his first mission...To Xundussa.
Guy spent a month and some then training in basic militant life. Most things he was accustom to, like hunting, sleeping under the stars, and bow use. But in the case that William ever did have to come to close quarters combat he was given and trained slightly with a shortsword. Which both baffled and confused Guy for quiet awhile. Over soon only after a month and some weeks, he was already scheduled to follow Kotoro and his men to a strike on the Drow, at their bridge to take back lost land that Valikolria proposed they should rightfully own.
It was during this battle that many of Valikorlia's finest would meet their end as the Drow, whom were thought to be unsuspecting were lying in wait with traps that were horrific and affective. However, due to the push in recruiting of young men, Valikorlia had the numbers to push all the way to the cities gates. There William experienced his first war wound as the troops were falling back, a Drow pierced Guy's side and another threw a dart into his hand. However it was Kotoro that saved William's life, as he stood in front of him as Guy pelted arrows into the vile dark elves and escaped with only a few squads left. William was a changed man, his side had caused his to fall and lame his leg while crossing the bridge, again scurring from another skirmish and the wound in his hand reduced his movement with it for many many months.
Early Retirment
It would take many months for William to be in fighting shape again. And when he was, he thirsted for something a simple man should not, revenge. He immediately took the most dangerous of watch jobs in the then overridden mountains to the far south of Valikorlia that was occupied by Orcs.
A few nights and nothing would go by, furthering Guy's anger to let out some steam that caused him the pain that will now daunt him for his life. However, it would be the night he decided not to stay up until dawn when the Orcs attacked the watchmen. And they would ravage them, many died trying to withstand the obviouisly leashed ogre, but it was too much for the watchers to handle. The Orcs took the women, children, and seemingly unfit to fight with them to their slave pits. William was groggy at the time, and had a slight limp so the orcs thought him some sort of gimp.
William spent weeks wasting away in the orcish pits, awaiting his demise and being fed the slop that they fed them to keep them strong enough to dig large ditches for the Orc's base. Guy one day, however, stood his ground one day and threw his shovel to the ground and attempted a quick escape at late dusk. But he wasnt quick enough and the Orc guardsmen did not take to kindly to escapee's and tortured William to near death and just as he plucked out William eye with his grotesque nails, a horn called in the distance. Valikorlia's finest came and saved the slaves. If it wasnt for the timing, Guy would have been dead. However his eye was forever lost, and he soon quit the army for good after they discharged him to a desk position. He left, disregarding all he ever was taught from serving the military.

William did not ever go back to his family, fearing he may have become the very thing his parents tried to keep him from becoming. He did however recently go to see his father before departing off to some off coastal island near Meridiem with a strange crew to help find a cure for another plague that had arisen some years after The Flood. William proved himself out there, but he did not ever return to Kharlia. And the drink that was his daemon was conquered, he turned his newly acquired Marsailles estate into a pub, however, it burned down the day after it was unveiled. He soon after died alone in the streets of a broken heart.
